In our first reading, there was a man, not even important enough to give a name, who was disabled from birth and had never walked. Paul, after preaching, looked at the man, and seeing that he had the faith to be healed, told the man in a loud voice, “Stand up on your feet.” The man did as he was told, got up and began to walk.
