Dear friend,

Welcome to the digital space of Sunshine Cathedral. For over 50 years, Sunshine Cathedral has been a refuge and a respite for so many of God’s beloved people. We seek here to be both a home for nurturing our LBGTQ+ community (and the PLUS means everyone) and a fortress, that is, a safe place, for the most vulnerable in a sometimes hostile world. 

Please, take a moment here and read, watch, learn, and come to know our corner of the internet. You will find we have a robust set of ministries all working in tandem. You will also find that our community seeks to be a place where all are welcome and celebrated. While the cornerstone of our life together is found in our vibrant worship services, you will also find there are many other avenues to check in, get involved, and find new meaning in the life of the Cathedral.

Finally, I hope that your visit to our digital space will be the beginning of a relationship. If you live in Fort Lauderdale or are visiting the region, please consider attending one of our worship services to get to know us better. If you live beyond the area but desire communion and fellowship with a fully open and affirming congregation, consider becoming a part of our Cathedral’s Global Fellowship.
