The Wisdom of Gerald G. Jampolsky
We can look upon our Source as a Loving Energy beyond our comprehension, a force of peace and joy, with a total absence of anger, cruelty or desire to punish or hurt anyone. We can learn to forgive our misperceptions of a judgmental God.

Our true self is but a reflection of this Loving Force where only love is found and nothing else. Our higher self, our spiritual self, is always at one with God, expressing only Love.

Our lower ego self, however, is capable of great cruelty. So it is important to know that we have a choice, that each of us is capable of retraining our minds to follow the way of peace rather than following the ego’s guidance of fear, judgment, and cruelty.

The Wisdom of the Apostle Paul (Romans 13.9-10)
The commandments “You shall not commit adultery; you shall not murder; you shall not steal; you shall not covet”; and any other commandment, are summed up in this word, “Love your neighbor as yourself.” Love does no wrong to a neighbor; therefore, love is the fulfilling of the law.

The Wisdom of Gerald G. Jampolsky
Let me this day choose forgiveness to remove any bitter feelings, grievances and judgments since these keep me feeling weary, half dead and separate from God. May this be the day that I let go of all my judgments so that I may once again experience peace of mind.

Today I will choose to explore the possibility that if I am in pain and am suffering I might be holding on to some unforgiving thought. And I choose this day to let go of those thoughts and find freedom from my pain.

The Gospel According to Matthew (18.21-22)
Peter came and said to Jesus, “Teacher, if another member of the assembly sins against me, how often should I forgive? As many as seven times?” Jesus said to him, “Not seven times, but, I tell you, seventy-seven times.”

The Wisdom of Gerald G. Jampolsky
When I choose to give with no expectations and no attachments concerning the outcome, I begin to experience the core of my being as love, joy, and peace, all woven together as one. This happens the moment I wholly let go of all thoughts of getting anything in return, not even receiving a thank-you or other acknowledgment that I have given.

The Gospel According to Matthew (20.1-16)
“For the kin-dom of heaven is like landowners who went out early in the morning to hire laborers for their vineyard. 2After agreeing with the laborers for the usual daily wage, they sent them into the vineyard. 3When the owners went out about nine o’clock, they saw others standing idle in the marketplace 4and said to them, ‘You also go into the vineyard, and we will pay you whatever is right.’ So they went. 5When they went out again about noon and about three o’clock they did the same.6And about five o’clock they went out and found others standing around and said to them, ‘Why are you standing here idle all day?’ 7They said to him, ‘Because no one has hired us.’ They told the day laborers to also go into the vineyard.

8When evening came, the owners paid the laborers, beginning with the last and then going to the first.’ 9When those hired about five o’clock came, each of them received the usual daily wage.10Now when the first came, they thought they would receive more; but each of them also received the usual daily wage. 11And when they received it, they grumbled against the landowners, 12saying, ‘These last worked only one hour, and you have made them equal to us who have borne the burden of the day and the scorching heat.’ 13But one of the owners replied, ‘Friend, I am doing you no wrong; did you not agree with me for the usual daily wage? 14Take what belongs to you and go; I choose to give to this last the same as I give to you. 15Am I not allowed to do what I choose with what belongs to me? Or are you envious because I am generous?’ 16So the last will be first, and the first will be last.”

The Wisdom of Gerald G. Jampolsky
When my very foundation seems to have disappeared…
When my future seems to be in terrible doubt and the world seems very unfair…
When it feels that it is no longer safe to trust and that there is a temptation to blame someone else for the predicament I am in,

When I feel fragmented, as if I were a jig saw puzzle…
When it feels as if God has lost my file and has abandoned me, and that all my previous faith was wrongly placed, and that I will never be able to trust or have faith in others or God again,

When I have forgotten that the essence of my being is Love, I can be absolutely sure of one thing –
It is not that God has abandoned me but that I have abandoned God, and I can choose again.

The Wisdom of the Torah (Exodus 17.1-7)
From the wilderness…the whole congregation of the Israelites journeyed by stages, as the UNNAMABLE MYSTERY commanded. They camped at Rephidim, but there was no water for the people to drink.2The people quarreled with Moses, and said, “Give us water to drink.” Moses said to them, “Why do you quarrel with me? Why do you test PROVIDENCE?” 3But the people thirsted there for water; and the people complained against Moses and said, “Why did you bring us out of Egypt, to kill us and our children and livestock with thirst?” 4So Moses cried out to the SOURCE OF LIFE, “What shall I do with this people? They are almost ready to stone me.” 5The DIVINE said to Moses, “Go on ahead of the people, and take some of the elders of Israel with you; take in your hand the staff with which you struck the Nile, and go. 6I will be standing there in front of you on the rock at Horeb. Strike the rock, and water will come out of it, so that the people may drink.” Moses did so, in the sight of the elders of Israel [whose people wondered] 7 …“Is GOD among us or not?”
