Sunday at 6 is a casual, contemporary, and “freestyle” weekly worship experience that features teaching sermons, a mixture of praise choruses and “old-time” southern gospel tunes, prayer, and an unscripted Communion service. While the tone and theology of the service is progressive, positive, and practical, the “feel” is a bit more evangelical.
Sunday at 6 is the perfect worship opportunity for people who work a graveyard shift or who work on Sunday mornings, who like to attend both morning and evening services, or who have other commitments on Sunday mornings but want to worship with the Sunshine Cathedral community in the evenings. If you (or your friends) friends fit into any of these categories then Sunday at 6 is good news indeed!

The Cathedral Staff and deacons pray for those on our prayer list throughout the week. You are invited to use our Special Prayers and to add your own private prayers. We also include prayers for “hope, healing, and happiness” for all who have been committed to the care of our prayers every Sunday in our morning liturgy. Finally, we write a prayer to include in our weekly newsletter that may be used by anyone who wishes to bless the people on our prayer list.
To add a name to our prayer list, fill out a prayer card and drop in the box at the Prayer Desk in the front lobby of the Worship Center or in the offering plate during worship. You may also use our online form. Or you may email requests to prayer@sunshinecathedral.org. Names appear on our prayer list for 30 days. If you would like a personal response, please include an email or home address on the prayer card so we can contact you.
